■ The purpose of guilds and associations

In an organization (work or duties), if we are concerned about the life or where is it heading at the current period, or feel unsafe, we still do have some helping hands within the organization.

In the Showa period (Japan). There were a lot of elderlies who were always helping each other. That statement "helping each other" seem to be the phrase that was forgotten during the Heisei era. For TJDA, the "helping each other" started from the associates within TJDA's union itself for solving problems and the cooperation of the members of the board, consultants and the approved lawyers and accountants. Moreover, the term "helping each other", could be used in the context of the unpredictable situations such as, the death of the members, hospitalization of the members, various disasters, the compensation for the members' family if he or she is facing an economic crisis and life stabilization of the members, also the group insurance for the company. On the other hand, we could say that this is the core function off the guild when the other members are facing a certain problem.

What is "helping" and "helping each other"?

Selfish people are selfish and dangerous. Darren not allowed to be associate with this kind of guilds in Japan. This kind of behaviors is a problematic for the other members in working environment and the harmony of "helping each other" for TJDA. With the support and the corporation of the members whether it is personal are organizational, with this core belief, there was success without any notice.
Moreover, there is another core believe of the guild which is "the economic stability", disbelief is more over than helping each other, but to expand the ideas for the plans for all of the members for the better life, there is a regular basis of exchanging the ideas of the members and some activities which include everyday life basis activities. Moreover, than these activities, the guild is responsible to seek for the better social welfare for the members from donations and charities rather than strictly using the money for the membership fees.

     • Cash payments - 15% discount on Room Rate, Medicine, Lab, Medical Supplies and X-ray.

Dental : 10% discount except orthodontics.

* Discount does not apply to doctor's fees, packaged or other discounted programs or items, chemotherapy,

Funeral arrangement in Thailand(WAT THAT THONG)


Tax consultation/Legal advice
Consultation and advice service on taxation matters and legal matters in Thailand is provided from 1pm to 3pm on the second and third Saturday every month.
Advance booking is required. If it is a national holiday, then it is postponed to the next time. Free of charge. Please feel free to use it to solve daily problems. Troubles with Thai people (labor troubles), Tax (payment, refund) issue, dealing with government offices, financial troubles etc.

Email/LINE distribution regarding danger information/spot information at the time of emergency etc.


■ Benefit

Insurance shall be provided when a Japanese mutual aid member has applied group insurance and he/she is sick, is injured, dies or suffers from a disaster.


■ Mutual aid for surviving family

When a member dies, the right to receive benefits is transferred to his/her spouse. Spouse/children in family register or beneficiary designated at the time of admission only.

Member fee

1. General member (with standard plan insurance)   Age 10 - 54 years, membership fee 1,750 baht / month.
  Age 55 - 65 years, membership fee 1,950 baht / month.

2. Plus standard plan   Age 10 - 54 years, membership fee 3,300 baht / month.
  Age 55 - 65 years, membership fee 3,700 baht / month.
  (Pay every 3 months.)
3. Health insurance plan   Age 10 - 54 years, membership fee 4,800 baht / month.
  Age 55 - 65 years, membership fee 5,400 baht / month.
  (Pay every 3 months.)
4. Member   1,800 baht / year.
5. General corporate member   Depends on the number of directors,
  employees and insurance policyholders.
6. Corporate member
(Advise on business, Management service)
  Depends on the business type
  as well as the number of directors and employees.

Insurance for all employees shall be included in the (General) corporate membership fee of the member No.5 and No.6.

It is a new service for a Thai employee who will be an insured person. We can deal with the increase or decrease of the number of Thai employees flexibly. Please consult with main office, including monthly accounting etc. (Corporate members only)

For those who join at their age of below 10 years old or over 59 years old, membership fee shall be claimed in the month before the month of admission every year.

■ Payment method of the membership fee

- Bank transfer to Bangkok Bank account   It shall be paid in advance within 26th of every 3 months.
- Rabbit LINE Pay
(Payment fee 3%)
  It shall be paid in advance within 26th of every 3 months, 4 times a year.
- SCB Easy Pay   It shall be paid in advance within 26th of or every 3 months.

After payment. Please send your name, plan, payment methods, and proof of payment sent to Email.

Monthly membership fee shall be changed with an advance notice in accordance with the change of members or times.

REGISTRATION

■ Admission Procedure

Please post or bring following documents No.1-3 to us.
Admission fee shall be paid at the same time.

1. A set of admission application (Please refer to APPLICATION in left column)
2. A set of medical checkups "health declaration" at the time of admission (Please refer to APPLICATION). The past medical history and family structure etc. shall be clearly written in the health declaration.
Members shall be withdrawn immediately in case of non-compliance with disclosure requirements.
Members who intend to use our insurance maliciously or who do not follow our principle shall be withdrawn after it has been discussed at directors' council.
3. A copy of ID card or passport. It's signature on picture page and page of Visa.
4. An admission fee + For 3 months of membership fee.

The deadline for submitting application documents is 20th of every month. The coverage will start on 1st of every next month. In case of non-compliance with disclosure or by result from insurance company. The coverage cannot start on 1st of next month.


■ Admission fee

The uniform admission fee is 350 Baht which is subject to general members No.1,2,3 and No.4. (Registration charge + Group insurance application procedure + Membership card issuing charge + Get 2 discounts card from two hospitals)
Therefore, the first payment shall be as below.
Admission fee + 1 month or 3 months Monthly or 1-year yearly membership fee


■ The conditions for membership of THAI-JAPANESE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION

It is a mutual aid mainly targeted at Japanese working in Thailand, but also including persons related to Japan such as Japanese spouses and children, students in Japanese language school, workers in Japanese companies. Members are accepted from 10 years old to 59 years old at the time of admission. For those who wish to join at their age of below 10 years old or 65 years old and above, the uniform yearly membership fee is 1,800B. However, admission fee and mutual aid benefit are not subject to those who join at their age of below 10 years old or 65 years old and above. Standard plan and plus standard plan are not available from 10 years old to 65 years old. Whether you are in the long-term or short-term (About half a year) You must have a residence in Thailand. In the absence of a visa or tourist visa. You cannot join the association.

Resignation or Unsubscribe of membership

Corporate members include members of the general public.


Please inform by email at least one-month before the withdrawal.
Withdrawal procedure is conducted all together once a month at the end of every month. If the notice is sent less than one month before, it shall be done next month and one month membership fee may be charged.

Plus standard plan

■ The conditions for admission

Covering from primary school to the elderly.
To apply for membership, you must be between 10 and 54 years old and 55 to 65 years old (Coverage continues until age 70, but conditions apply).
There are outpatient benefits in plus standard plan.
